How Aviary works

Aviary is an AI agent that runs your job search between your check-ins. It does the legwork — finding companies, watching their postings, drafting applications — and brings you small, clear decisions instead of homework. Two things are always true: everything important is your call, and nothing is ever submitted anywhere without you.

The approach

Real jobs, straight from the source

Company career pages are the best source of real, current openings — and applications submitted through a company's own site are taken more seriously. Job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor are littered with stale and even fake listings, and because people mass-apply there, companies have learned to treat board applications as low-priority.

So Aviary splits the job in two: boards are only a tip-off for which companies are hiring the roles you want — the jobs themselves always come straight from the company's career page, and you apply on the company's own site. Along the way, Aviary tracks what boards never show you: when a posting went up, when it came down, and how your applications are doing. It's a personal assistant checking every careers page for you, every day.

Company scans build your watchlist

Once a week, the agent goes hunting for companies that match what you told it — the kind of work, the industries, the deal-breakers. Each promising company lands on your board as one simple decision: watch or skip. Watching puts the company on your watchlist, the hunting ground for everything that follows. Skipping teaches the agent what not to bring you again.

Job scans catch new postings

Every day, the agent checks the careers page of every company you watch — the postings straight from the source, not a board's copy of them. Each new role is scored against your preferences — seniority, compensation, location, must-haves. Strong fits arrive as go / no-go cards with the reasoning spelled out; weak fits are skipped, with the reason noted so you can always audit its judgment.

Step 3 · on your go

Application packages, drafted — never sent

When you say go, the agent reads that role's job description closely and tailors your application to it: a résumé that leads with what this posting actually asks for, and a cover letter in your voice that speaks to it directly. The raw material is only what you gave it — your uploaded résumé, your interview stories, your preferences. It never invents facts about you. You review the draft and request changes until it's right. Then you download it and submit it yourself — Aviary never applies on your behalf.
